Gollings is an England Sevens regular |
Winger Ben Gollings has left Newcastle to sign for Worcester Warriors. The England Sevens player started just 10 Zurich Premiership games for the Falcons after joining from Harlequins.
Falcons director of rugby Rob Andrew said: "We felt with the strength in depth of our backs, there were limited first-team opportunities for Ben.
"But we wish him all the best with Worcester, and we look forward to facing them in the opening weekend of the season."
Andrew added: "With Epi Taione moving back to the wing and Matthew Tait joining the squad, as well as the likes of Tom May and Michael Stephenson being available, we feel we are well covered in that position.
"At full-back we have Matthew Burke, Dave Walder and Joe Shaw who can all play there, so Ben's chances were realistically going to be limited."
