Nottingham made a poor start to their Championship play-off campaign, going down 48-26 at London Welsh. David Jackson gave the Green & Whites an early advantage when he crossed the first of his two tries. But the hosts dominated after half-time and eased to victory despite a late rally and further Nottingham tries from Jackson, Ian Kench and a penalty try. Nottingham's second Pool A play-off game is this Sunday (20 March, 1500 GMT) when Bristol visit Meadow Lane.
