Plymouth Albion coach John Roberts has called on his side to bounce back after they narrowly failed to make the Championship's promotion play-offs. An 18-13 defeat by Bristol on Sunday condemned Albion to a place in the relegation play-offs. Roberts told BBC Devon: "We've got to pick ourselves up pretty quickly and we can't feel sorry for ourselves. "We've got to get ourselves out of it, we've got to work hard and make sure that we aren't relegated." Roberts continued: "We're desperately disappointed because I thought we brought a lot of energy to Sunday's game and perhaps we could have sneaked it at the end." Albion still have one fixture of the regular season remaining before the play-offs begin, with Bedford visiting the Brickfields on Saturday. "The Bedford game is important because we've got to create some momentum," Roberts added. "We need to try and win and get some kind of confidence and a good platform to go into the play-offs."
