Wyles scored three of Saracens' eight tries
US international Chris Wyles' hat-trick was in vain as Saracens failed to reach the LV= Cup semi-final despite an emphatic victory over Sale Sharks. Wyles scored the game's opening two tries on the left before Sharks' Nick MacLeod touched down by the posts. Jamie George drove over for the hosts, Wyles outsprinted Rhys Crane to score and Ernst Joubert crossed for Sarries. Justin Melck and Rodd Penney sealed the rout but Sarries are out as Newport Gwent Dragons beat Llanelli Scarlets.
