Launceston picked up a vital home win against Otley in their battle against relegation from National One. Otley went in front with an early Jason Georgiou try, before Launceston stirred into life with tries from Mark Rawlings and Richard Bright. Otley pulled a try back through James Twomey, but a Jake Murphy penalty put the hosts 15-12 up at half-time. A second Murphy penalty and a Ryan Westren touchdown kept Launceston ahead after the break as they sealed victory. The Cornish club, who started the season with a 20 point deduction for going into voluntary liquidation, remain bottom of National One, however they are now only 12 points from safety. Otley are also in the relegation places, third-from-bottom, having won just three matches all season.
