Redruth came from behind to secure a crucial win against Blackheath that moves them out of the relegation places in National One. Three Paul Humphries penalties helped Blackheath take a 9-3 half-time lead, that was added to with an early try from James Stephenson after the break. The Reds then sprung into life as tries from Steve Wood and Mark Bright saw them take control of the match. Blackheath heaped on late pressure, but the Reds held out for the win. Aaron Penberthy contributed crucial points for the Reds with the boot, kicking two penalties and a conversion. The Cornish club are now fourth-bottom in National One, two points above the relegation places.
