Scrum-half Peter Stringer will win his 95th cap against Argentina

Ireland have made five changes from the team beaten by New Zealand for Sunday's final autumn Test against Argentina.

Full-back Geordan Murphy and winger Andrew Trimble come in for the injured Rob Kearney and Luke Fitzgerald while Peter Stringer starts at scrum-half.

In the front row, Sean Cronin replaces sidelined Rory Best and Tony Buckley's return from a hip injury means Tom Court reverts to the replacements.

Argentina have made three changes from the team beaten last weekend by France.

Wing Horacio Agulla replaces Gonzalo Camacho while centre Marcelo Bosch takes over from Santiago Fernandez.

The only change in the forwards is the inclusion of flanker Julio Farias Cabello in place of Miguel de Achaval.

Farias Cabello impressed after coming on as a replacement to make his Pumas debut in the 15-9 defeat by the French.

Wing Lucas Borges, another member of Argentina's 2007 World Cup squad, is drafted on to the bench along with prop Juan Figallo.

For Ireland, centres Brian O'Driscoll and Gordon D'Arcy and winger Tommy Bowe have all been cleared to play after picking up knocks against the All Blacks.

Ireland are placed one spot above Argentina in the world rankings in seventh, though their positions will be reversed if the Pumas prevail on Sunday.

It will be 12th time the rivals have met - the record will read six victories each if Argentina triumph - in a feisty fixture that has witnessed plenty of bad blood.
