Argentina have made three changes from the team beaten last weekend by France for Sunday's clash with Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.

Wing Horacio Agulla replaces Gonzalo Camacho while centre Marcelo Bosch takes over from Santiago Fernandez.

The only change in the forwards is the inclusion of flanker Julio Farias Cabello in place of Miguel de Achaval.

Farias Cabello impressed after coming on as a replacement to make his Pumas debut in the 15-9 defeat by the French.

Wing Lucas Borges, another member of Argentina's 2007 World Cup squad, is drafted on to the bench along with prop Juan Figallo.

Centre Gonzalo Tiesi said that the Pumas had played better in defeat against France than in the 22-16 win over Italy in Verona a week earlier.

"Against Italy we won but on the pitch we saw an Argentine team that did not dominate much and played little with the ball and against France we lost but played better rugby," said Tiesi.

"These are the differences that stand out, one for having won, which is the main objective, but looking to the long term we want to continue improving our game," he said.

"Maybe today Ireland are a small step above us but we are confident we can have a good match."

Argentina's loss in Montpellier dropped them to eighth in the International Rugby Board rankings while Ireland have slipped to seventh in the latest ratings.

In 17 meetings Ireland have beaten Argentina eight times and lost seven while the encounters have generally been fiery affairs.

Ireland coach Declan Kidney has delayed naming his team because of a number of injury worries.

Rory Best, Luke Fitzgerald and Rob Kearney are definitely out of Sunday's game because of injuries.

Stephen Ferris, David Wallace, Brian O'Driscoll, Gordon D'Arcy and Tommy Bowe have also been nursing knocks in the run-up to the game although all five are expected to be passed fit for selection.

Argentina: M Rodriguez; H Agulla, G Tiesi, M Bosch, L Gonzalez Amorosino; F Contepomi (capt), N Vergallo; R Roncero, M Ledesma, M Scelzo; M Galarza, P Albacete; G Fessia, J Farias Cabello, J Fernandez Lobbe.

Replacements: A Creevy, M Ayerza, J Figallo, S Guzman, A Galindo, A Lalanne, L Borges
