Penberthy's Redruth are currently second-bottom in National One |
Redruth's director of rugby Dave Penberthy has said it is vital his side start winning their home matches. The Reds have failed to pick up any away points this season, and have only won once on their home ground. Penberthy told BBC Cornwall: "Last season when we were losing on the road we were picking up bonus points "But this year we haven't done that, so it's vitally important that we keep up our home form and start picking up points that way." He added: "We seem to have carried from last year and no matter how hard we're trying, we're losing away from home." Penberthy's charges will have the opportunity to build on their home record with the visit of Sedgely Park on Saturday, who like the Reds are struggling at the wrong end of the league table. He said: "We're both fighting for league points to ease the position that we're in, so I'm sure it's going to be a huge tussle."
