Redruth's disappointing run of form in National One continued as they went down 25-14 against a free-scoring Otley on Saturday. Otley led from the front, a converted Chris Hamill try and a penalty kick putting them 10-3 up at half-time. Three second-half tries extended their lead as Rob Afoa-Peterson, Curtis Wilson and Peter Tennet all got their names on the scoresheet. Redruth managed a consolation score through winger Sean Hawkey. Fly-half Aaron Penberthy was also on hand to kick three penalties for the Reds, while Jervis Manupenu slotted a conversion and a penalty for Otley. The defeat leaves Redruth second-bottom in the National One standings, with just one win from their opening seven games.
