 Wes Davies ran home the second try of the first half |
Cornish Pirates ran-in eight tries in their convincing 54-6 victory over Esher in the Championship on Sunday. Johnny Bentley scored a penalty in the opening minutes, before Dave Ward pushed over, followed by Wes Davies. In the second period, Bentley danced his way through for a try, followed by Chris Morgan right under the posts. Drew Locke and Phil Burgess added further scores, with Laurie McGlone and prop Ryan Storer completing the scoring for a comprehensive win.
