Fly-half Adrian Jarvis vows to stay with Bristol

Adrian Jarvis says he is settled in Bristol

Bristol fly-half Adrian Jarvis has told the club he wants to stay despite their failure to win the Championship play-off final against Exeter Chiefs.

Centre Luke Eves has already agreed to join Newcastle but Jarvis says he is happy to honour his contract.

"I love the club and really like Bristol as a city," Jarvis told BBC Radio Bristol.

"I signed a contract just after Christmas and I'd be devastated if I had to leave."

The 26-year-old former England Under-21 international joined Bristol from Harlequins at the start of the 2008/09 season and quickly established himself in the first team.

He scored 274 points in 31 matches as Bristol finished top of the Championship table this season.

"I moved from London and this is now my home," he added.
