Director of rugby Glenn Delaney committed to Nottingham

Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney has no intention of leaving and says he is still excited by his job.

The club have had a difficult two years with financial pressures causing problems both on and off the pitch.

Nottingham lost some key players before the start of the Championship season and struggled for their best form.

But Delaney told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's really become home to me. The hunger is there, it's a great sporting city, where else would you want to be?"

Delaney, whose side's slim hopes of reaching the semi-finals of the Championship play-off came to an end with a heavy defeat at the hands of Exeter Chiefs last week, added: "It will be a hard place to leave if at some point that decision is made.

"I get a chill on the back of my neck when I go to work because I know I'm going to a proper sporting city."
