Luctonians climb to fifth in the table after their win at Wyeside

Luctonians held on to win a tense derby game against Hereford 28-20 at Wyeside to climb above their hosts in the National League Three (Midlands) table.

The north Herefordshire side opened up an early 10-point lead but Hereford battled back and were always in touch.

More than 1,000 fans turned out for the game, with the visitors' win taking them up to fifth place in the table.

A slow start meant Malvern were always up against it in their game at Longton as the home side cruised to a 31-6 win.
