Guernsey captain Simon Sharrott relieved with comeback

Guernsey Rugby Club

Guernsey captain Simon Sharrott says their comeback to beat Weybridge Vandals in London Two South West on Saturday was crucial.

The third-placed Sarnians trailed 15-0 at half-time but scored 21 unanswered points after the break to win.

Sharrott said: "We can't really afford to drop any more points, especially at home. We have to keep the pressure on.

"We've got Guildford at home next week, which is another must-win game because they're around us in the league."

He added: "We're got to get two more points and keep pressure on Tottonians."

Guernsey are two points behind both leaders Tottonians and London Irish Amateur.
