Bristol have tied up three of their current squad on longer-term contracts.

Junior Fatialofa, James Phillips and Wayne Thompson have agreed extensions to their current deals to stay at the Memorial Stadium.

Bristol head coach Paul Hull says all three have played a big part in their campaign to return to the Premiership.

"James, Junior and Wayne have impressed this season and it's a promising sign of the club's future that they have extended their contracts," he said.

Fatialofa signed for Bristol from Exeter Chiefs at the start of the 2008/9 season and has scored three tries this campaign.

Phillips and Thompson are both products of the club's academy and have both been regulars in the starting line-up.

With his team currently top of the Championship, Hull thinks the trio's extended deals are yet more positives for the club.

"Everyone involved feels the momentum building as we head into the latter stages of the league and this news only helps that," he added.
