Baxter's side are unbeaten in all 13 games so far this season |
Exeter Chiefs continued their unbeaten record with a comfortable victory over troubled Coventry on Saturday. In the first half, both sides traded two penalties, before Haydn Thomas and Phil Dollman each crossed for the Chiefs to make it 18-6 at the break. After the break the Chiefs, who paid for administration-hit Cov's travel costs, scored four tries to claim a crucial bonus point. Cov never gave up and Drew Lock crossed the line for a late consolation try. The Chiefs' second-half try scorers were Chris Budgen, Saul Nelson and Mark Foster, with a penalty-try also awarded to the home side. Fly-half Danny Gray kicked three conversions and two penalties for Exeter.
