Phelan shuffles pack for Scots clash
Argentina have made six changes for Saturday's autumn Test versus Scotland.
Leicester prop Marcos Ayerza and London Irish scrum-half Alfredo Lalanne gain starts in place of Rodrigo Roncero and Agustin Figuerloa respectively.
Hooker Alberto Vernet Basualdo comes in for Mario Ledesma and Manuel Carizza replaces lock Mariano Sambucetti.
Tomas Leonardi loses his place at flanker to Alejandro Campos and wing Federico Martin Aramburu starts ahead of Mauro Comuzzi.
The Pumas are looking to preserve an unbeaten record at Murrayfield which stretches back to 1990.
Each side recorded a victory during Scotland's two-Test tour of Argentina in 2008 but the Scots lost when the two nations met in the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup a year earlier.
The tourists are looking for their first victory of their UK tour following defeats in Wales and England.
"We are looking ahead to the World Cup in 2011 and this is a chance to look at a few more players," explained Pumas coach Santiago Phelan.
"We are looking for a good performance first and foremost and to concentrate more because we were punished for our mistakes against Wales.
"Scotland are well organised in defence and good in rucks, so I think it will be a close game and very tough."
Argentina to play Scotland: Agulla; Borges, Tiesi, Rodriguez, Aramburu, S Fernandez, Lalanne; Ayerza, Basualdo, Scelzo, Carizza, Albacete, Campos, Abadie, J M Fernandez Lobbe (captain). Replacements: Creevy, Roncero, Lozada, Leonardi, Figuerola, Urdapilleta, Martin.
