Nuneaton prop forward Brook Davies could be back in action for their next match against Launceston despite a major injury scare at Cambridge. Saturday's game was held up for 50 minutes while he received treatment on his neck and back. But checks have revealed Davies suffered no serious damage and he will be assessed this week to see if he can make an immediate return to training. Coach Mike Umaga confirmed: "Brook is okay and up and walking." The match referee at Cambridge took the players off the field in the second half to allow Davies to be transported to hospital. The game was then resumed and finished 26-6 in Cambridge's favour. Nuneaton face Launceston on November 28.
