Exeter Chiefs have strengthened their pack with the re-signing of lock Toby Freeman from Birmingham & Solihull. The 21-year-old left the Chiefs at the end of last season for the Bees, but has now returned to Devon to continue his studies at Exeter University. Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter said Freeman will be able to slot straight into the squad: He said: "Toby is already aware of the demands of Championship rugby and is determined to improve his own game." The Chiefs are currently first in the Championship table after winning all of their opening seven games, whilst the Bees, who are yet to win, are languishing at the foot of the table.
