Delaney sees the international absences as encouraging for the club |
Nottingham's director of rugby Glenn Delaney says having four players away on international duty is "bittersweet". While the Green and Whites returned to pre-season training this week, Jack Cobden, Greig Tonks and James Clark are in Japan with the England under-20s. Scrum-half Tim Usasz is also away with the USA national side. Delaney told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We've got four guys away with international commitments and we haven't that for 25 years." He added: "It's a bittersweet thing that they're not here for training but they're away representing their countries."
