Delaney happy for internationals

Delaney sees the international absences as encouraging for the club

Nottingham's director of rugby Glenn Delaney says having four players away on international duty is "bittersweet".

While the Green and Whites returned to pre-season training this week, Jack Cobden, Greig Tonks and James Clark are in Japan with the England under-20s.

Scrum-half Tim Usasz is also away with the USA national side.

Delaney told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We've got four guys away with international commitments and we haven't that for 25 years."

He added: "It's a bittersweet thing that they're not here for training but they're away representing their countries."
