Redruth failed to spoil the party for Birmingham & Solihull, sliding to a five-try loss as the hosts secured the National Two title.

Nigel Hambly's team succumbed in the second half as Birmingham demonstrated the form that will see them play in the new Championship next season.

Redruth briefly had parity with the Bees, a try from lock Damien Cook putting the scores at 7-7.

But they failed to answer the hosts onslaught and now finish in third spot.
