Diss captain Adam Williamson is his side's leading points scorer |
Diss director of rugby Henry Lind is confident his side can win their potential title decider at Staines in London Two North on Saturday. The Norfolk side are second in the table, a point behind the league leaders, who they meet in their penultimate game of the season. Lind told BBC Radio Norfolk: "We've been chasing Staines all season. "They've lost a couple of games in the last three and if we win our next two games we will be champions." Lind believes his side's strong away form gives them added hope. "We've only lost one away game, that's why I really am confident," he added. "We've beaten some of the better sides in our league quite convincingly away from home." He also has no doubt as to the main ingredient of their success, as they chase promotion for the second successive season. "Togetherness, definitely togetherness," Lind explained. "They just like playing in each other's company, the majority have come up together through the juniors. "There's only one player in the whole of our first team or second team squad who isn't home grown."
