Liskeard-Looe are through to the final of the EDF Junior Vase after scoring a stoppage-time try to beat Lowestoft and Yarmouth 26-19. But they had to book their place at Twickenham the hard way after going 19-7 down. A try in the second minute of stoppage time from Andy Shear, who reacted quickest after a turnover, sealed the win and put them into the final. They will face Brighton on Saturday, 9 May after they beat Hullensians 20-3.
Liskeard-Looe captain Tristan Nicholas told BBC Radio Cornwall: "We didn't get off to a very good start and we got ourselves behind 19-7 down 10 minutes into the second half. "We knew we had it in us, we knew how we played in the first five or 10 minutes that was how we could play. "We almost thought 'we're going to cruise today' and sat back off and we really had to dig deep."
