Forster joined Gloucester from Hartpury College

Sale Sharks have signed Jack Forster from Gloucester on a two-year deal.

The 21-year-old prop forward leaves the Kingsholm outfit after three seasons to return to the north west.

Forster, who was born in Wigan, has represented England at Under-16 and Under-18 level and played for the Saxons against Canada and USA in 2008.

Director of rugby Kingsley Jones said: "Jack is a great signing. Phil Keith Roach and I both believe he has what it takes to become a full international."
