Kendal returned to action at Nuneaton in National League Three North but were beaten 21-13 by the Midlands highfliers on Saturday. The visitors trailed 18-3 at the break after tries from hooker Adam Bray and right wing Cave William, but showed greater resolve in the second period. Second row Liam Hayton and Lewis Boyd grabbed early second-half tries to lift Kendal into the game. But Huw Thomas' penalty ended their hopes as the match drew to a close.
