Bromsgrove's defeat at Dudley was only their second in 15 league games

Bromsgrove lost ground in the Midlands Two West promotion battle when they went down 21-12 at Dudley Kingswinford.

Former Worcester Warriors player Duncan Roke crossed the Dudley line in what was a close game, but the home side pulled away in the closing stages.

Bromsgrove remain top of the table, but they are level on points with Burton-on-Trent who have a game in hand.

Dudley's win kept alive their slim title hopes, but they are six points adrift back in third place.
