Plymouth Albion had to work hard for victory against a determined Otley side at Brickfields.

Albion led 20-3 at the break with tries from number eight Sean-Michael Stephen and scrum-half Greg Nicholls.

But Otley refused to fold and came back with scores from lock Tom Denton and front-row Ryan Wederell.

A third penalty from Albion fly-half Alex Davies late on made the game safe and went some way to mollifying the planned wage cuts at Brickfields.
