Scotland flanker Jon Dunbar has made just four Leeds starts this term
Jon Dunbar will make his first start for Leeds Carnegie in 10 weeks at Manchester on Saturday (1415 GMT).
The Scotland international flanker has been out with a back injury and is one of eight changes for the encounter.
Erik Lund returns at lock to face his former club, Rob Rawlinson starts at hooker, while Danny Paul also plays.
There is a new half-back pairing of Alberto Di Bernardo and Joe Bedford, while Richard Welding and Jonny Hepworth both gain starts.
Hooker Phil Nilsen, who is on the bench, told BBC Radio Leeds: "Manchester have been struggling but they have spells in each game where they put some good stuff together.
"We have to make sure we concentrate and don't let them into the game.
"If we let them into the game then we are in for a fight.
"We know every team that comes against us wants to knock us over and we have to be ready for that.
