Winger Billy Cakaunitabua has a good try-scoring record for York |
York hope to climb the Yorkshire One league table in the run-up to the Christmas break. Their win over Heath moved them up to seventh and coach Ken Higgins told BBC Radio York they are confident of improving on that. "We've got a couple of games coming up that we can win. We've got Glossop away who are second to bottom and then Bridlington at home," he said. "We've got a series of games that we're looking forward to to lift us." Higgins believes his side are strong enough to make the impact he is looking for. "There's afair side out there and we've got a couple of players out. "Billy Cakaunitabua, our Fijian, has played just 10 minutes this season and is a great loss. "Rob Kama, our other Fijian - they are now both really local York lads - is away in Australia playing with the combined forces rugby league. "If we had those two back it would add another dimension to our play with lots of pace out there."
