Kirkby Lonsdale Rugby Club has become only the second UK club to receive the Rugby Football Union Level Four Seal of Approval for its youth section.

The Cumbrians will be presented with the honour on Monday, 19 October and youth team chairman John Anderson is delighted to have been recognised.

"This presentation recognizes the dynamic growth of youth rugby in the south of the county," he said.

"Not to mention the massive commitment made by coaches and parents."
