Barrow joint-manager Dave Bayliss has warned his squad that major changes could be made during the January transfer window.

Bayliss was angered by his side's poor display in Tuesday night's 3-2 Setanta Shield win over Fleetwood Town.

He told BBC Radio Cumbria: "We've got money to spend and have got a shopping list for January.

"Maybe some of them feel safe. If they want to come in with that attitude then more fool them."

The Bluebirds had led 3-1 at half-time through a Jason Walker hat-trick with the visitors reduced to ten men.

"There were too many people thinking the game was over at half-time," sais Bayliss.

"Some players were strutting around the pitch and that's not the response we want from the lads, we were furious with some of them."

Bayliss believes some of his squad have still to prove they are capable of playing at a higher level following last season's promotion from the Blue Square North.

"Some of the decision-making is unbelievably bad and that's what they've got to get out of their heads," he said.

"We're not frightened to change things. We've put our faith in these lads and this isn't good enough.

"If they think they are too good for this level then they can come and see us and they can go."

Barrow welcome Eastbourne Borough in the Blue Square Premier on Saturday looking for their first home league win since 23 August.

"We know we have to play a lot better to get a win on Saturday," said Bayliss.

"This is one of our cup finals because they are one of the teams around us that we have to beat.

"It's a must-win game but it will be tough."
