Nottingham fly-half Tim Taylor said he is disappointed his side did not take away an extra point from Saturday's game at Moseley.

"It was good to win again but realistically we have to go to places like Moseley and get a bonus point.

"Exeter, Bedford and Leeds all picked up bonus points this weekend so we have fallen behind a little bit," Taylor told the club's website.

Nottingham beat Moseley 26-24 to secure their sixth win of the season.

We love playing at Meadow Lane and it has certainly become a fortress for us

Taylor, who scored 16 points for the Green and Whites, said: "We created lots of pressure on Saturday but couldn't quite finish off the chances; either the last pass wasn't good enough or we turned the ball over, which is disappointing."

He said his side had to be confident of getting a bonus point from their next league game on Sunday.

"We love playing at Meadow Lane and it has certainly become a fortress for us.

"Newbury have had a lot of changes to their side and haven't started well but every team in this league is dangerous on their day."
