Paul Cox's second half try was to no avail for Moseley at Rotherham |
Moseley have opened their National League One campaign with three wins and three defeats following a 47-23 reverse at promotion-chasing Rotherham. Playing into a strong wind in the first half, the visitors fell behind 21-8 despite a try for Charlie Sharples. With the wind at their backs after the break, Moseley still could not hold Rotherham at bay, as they crossed the line four more times to secure the win. Paul Cox and James Rodwell went over for consolation tries. The Birmingham-based club face another tough challenge on Saturday when they host Nottingham. The East Midlanders come to Billesley Common sitting fourth in the table after a flying start to the season, having won their last five games.
