Georgina Rosario has kept her place in the England squad |
Devon rugby duo Danielle Waterman and Georgina Rosario have been picked in a 30-strong England women's squad for next month's Nation's Cup. The England team, who won their third straight RBS Six Nations Grand Slam, earlier this year, face the USA and Canada at Esher. "We have got quite a few players who have just a couple of caps under their belts," said head coach Gary Street. "It's really important that they get some more international experience." Winger Waterman, who plays for Clifton in the top flight of English women's rugby, has been a regular in the England side for the past few years. Scrum-half Rosario was not involved in the Six Nations, but did feature in England's successful European Championships campaign in the Netherlands in May. England's first match in the Nations Cup is on Friday 22 August against the USA before playing Canada on Sunday 24 August. They will also play a test match against either side outside of the cup. The USA will be their first opponents on Tuesday 19 August before facing Canada in a final match on Friday 29 August.
