Malvern received expert help from Worcester Warriors director of rugby Mike Ruddock at their first training session of the new season. Malvern rugby director David Robins told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "Mike has coached at the highest level. "And we see Mike's session with us as recognition that we have become Worcestershire's top junior club. "It was a great bonus to have a top coach with international experience. The lads came off totally enthused." Malven have also announce several new signings ahead of their Midlands One campaign. Former Worcester University scrum-half Dave Hadkiss and centre Carl Robinson have joined from Stourbridge. And loose-head prop Dan Chesham, formerly at Malvern before spells with Dudley Kingswinford and Bromsgrove, makes a return to Spring Lane. Three former King's School first XV players have also signed, flanker Don Wood and two backs, James Bennett and Vaughan Thomas.
