Cornish Pirates will host local rivals Redruth in their first pre-season game at Camborne.

The match, on Saturday 16 August (1700 BST), will see the National One side face their Cornish National Two rivals.

The Pirates hope to arrange one other friendly against strong opposition before their opening match at home to Newbury on Sunday 31 August.

The Pirates will be hoping to improve on their fifth-placed finish in National One last season.
