Devon coach John Roberts says poor decisions cost the county the chance to retain the Bill Beaumont Cup against Yorkshire at Twickenham. Devon lost 33-13, but led 6-3 just before half-time when they conceded two quick tries and another soon after the break to hand Yorkshire the advantage. "We're pretty disappointed because we were in contention for most of the first half," he told BBC Radio Devon. "Then a couple of poor decisions and we went into half-time feeling down." And Roberts felt that the three tries either side of the half set Yorkshire on their way to victory. "They had a bit of confidence from those scores and to be fair to them they were perhaps a bit more physical on the day. "They're a big side and they produced quicker ball and got forward. We struggled to go forward in the whole game."
