Danny Cipriani has been nominated in both main categories for this year's Guinness Premiership awards. The Wasps and England fly-half has been shortlisted for the player of the year award and the young player's prize. Team-mate Paul Sackey, Bath's Olly Barkley, Gloucester pair James Simpson-Daniel and Akapusi Qera are the other nominees in the senior category. Matthew Banahan, Ben Foden, Danny Care and Chris Robshaw join Cipriani on the list for the young player's award. Gloucester's Dean Ryan, Bath's Steve Meehan and Harlequins' Dean Richards have all been shortlisted for the director of rugby award. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 28 May at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge.
