Launceston's on-loan forward Tim Collier has had his suspension for a red card against Nottingham last month extended after his appeal failed.

An RFU disciplinary panel increased his ban by a week and the lock now misses Saturday's return match at Nottingham.

"Its annoying because weve never appealed before and to have it rejected is particularly disappointing," said Cornish All Blacks coach Chris Brown.

Collier joined Launceston on loan from the Worcester Warriors in February.

After making his debut as an early replacement in the EDF National Trophy tie against Nottingham, he was sent off for a high tackle as his new team lost 71-3.
