Launceston had a man sent off and another helped off injured as they suffered a Saturday night EDF National Trophy quarter final thrashing. Number eight Tinus Du Plessis limped off with a hamstring injury at Meadow Lane after just three minutes.
But his replacement, Worcester loanee Tim Collier, was then sent off for a high tackle on his debut.
Nottingham scored 57 unanswered points before Jon Fabien hit the only Cornish points with a drop goal on 60 minutes.
Head coach Jon Hill, who called it "a bad day at the office", said the defeat came as a big blow.
The Cornish All Blacks must now return to Polson Bridge this coming Saturday to focus on avoiding relegation.
They will be battling to stay above Birmingham & Solihull, who currently sit bottom of National League One.
