Exeter Chiefs colts knocked Jersey out of the RFU National Under-19s Plate with a 24-17 win at St Peter on Sunday. Exeter scrum-half Adam Garner put his side ahead with a converted try, before Charlie Clyde-Smith went over in the corner for Jersey's opening score.
A well-worked pushover try from John Howard allowed the Chiefs to go into half time with a 12-5 advantage.
After the break the visitors extended their lead to 24-10 before Jersey closed the gap with two late tries.

Jersey fell further behind in the second half when James Harris touched down from a strong forward push, and Jack Pugsley made a superb conversion.
A second try for Clyde-Smith closed the gap for the home team.
Full-back Mark Livesey created an exciting finale for the 350 fans with a third Jersey try.
Exeter colts' manager Rob Steer said the match was "nail biting" and an "absolute cracker".
He told BBC Radio Jersey: "Full praise to Jersey, they came back at us and, in my view, they totally dominated the second half.
"But we managed to contain the game and obviously the result went our way."
