Poitrenaud had been recalled to France's squad |
France full-back Clement Poitrenaud has been ruled out of the Six Nations after breaking his ankle on Saturday. Poitrenaud was stretchered off during Toulouse's 41-15 win over Perpignan in the French championship and is expected to be sidelined for around three months
The full-back had only just been recalled to the French side by coach Marc Lievremont, having not played for Les Bleus since last year's World Cup.
France meet England in their next Six Nations match on 23 February.
Clermont's Anthony Floch, who was originally dropped by Lievremont, will replace Poitrenaud in the 22-man squad.
