England Women ran in three tries and kept another clean sheet as they eased past Italy 23-0 at Twickenham to keep their hopes of a Grand Slam alive. They only managed one penalty in the opening quarter before captain Sue Day went over in the left-hand corner for the opening try.
Full-back Charlotte Barras extended the lead just before Italy captain Maria Cristina Sanfilippo was sin-binned.
Danielle Waterman added a third in the second half, converted by Karen Andrew.
