Floors arrived in England on Monday after a late call-up |
South Africa have included uncapped flanker Kabamba Floors in their team to play England on Saturday. The 27-year-old replaces the injured Pierre Spies at number six, with Danie Rossuow switching from open-side to number eight for the Twickenham clash.
Juan Smith is selected at open-side, but the rest of the South Africa pack remains unchanged.
Andre Pretorius returns at fly-half in place of Butch James in the only change to the Springboks' back division.
Jacques Cronje has flown home along with Spies and James after all three sustained knee injuries against England in last week's 23-21 defeat.
Floors, who plays for the Cheetahs, was voted the Currie Cup player of the year in October only arrived in England on Monday, after being called up to cover the injuries.
"I just want to represent and defend my country with pride," said Floors on Sunday. "It is as if a dream has come true."
 | I'm quite excited to see how Kabamba does South Africa coach Jake White |
Coach Jake White had previously resisted calls for Floors' inclusion, insisting the flanker was too small for international rugby.
"To be fair, not every decision I've ever made has been correct," said White.
"Kabamba has fitted in nicely this week and I'm quite keen to see how he plays at the weekend. He's played really well in the Currie Cup.
"I'm quite excited to see how Kabamba does, he's only been here for three days. The most important thing is for him to link as much as he can with the backs.
"He's really quick so it will be nice to see how effective he is getting off the back of line-outs and scrums.
"It's never cast in stone that you have a set way. I've had a view on him but I think he can add something extra to what we saw last Saturday."
South Africa have lost their last seven matches against England and are attempting to end a run of six straight away defeats.
