Springboks lose trio for rematch
South Africa fly-half Butch James sends out a pass against England
James scored 13 points in Saturday's Test against England
South Africa will be without three key players through injury for Saturday's second Test with England at Twickenham.

Fly-half Butch James and back-row duo Jacques Cronjes and Pierre Spies will all return home after sustaining knee injuries during Saturday's defeat.

Cronje went off at half-time, James was forced off after 57 minutes, having just kicked the Springboks into a 21-13 lead, but flanker Spies soldiered on.

Gerrie Britz, Kabamba Floors and Wikus van Heerden have all been called up.

The loose-forward trio are expected to arrive in London on Monday and start preparations on Tuesday.

Another back-row forward Juan Smith, who started the defeat to Ireland but missed Saturday's Test with England, is having a calf injury monitored.

The Springboks conclude their centenary tour of their first visit to the British Isles with a clash against a World XV in Leicester on 3 December.
