Ben Gollings notched two tries in a 40-12 rout over the USA, while pacy wing Tom Varndell came on late in the 36-12 win over Canada to bag a brace.

Scotland opened the day with an 82-0 demolition of Singapore, but were then whitewashed 35-0 by New Zealand.
And Wales crushed China 29-0 but lost 21-17 to South Africa to drop into the Plate competition where they will play Portugal in the quarter-final.
