Fly-half Andre Pretorius has been recalled to the South African squad for the first time in two years for the match against Australia on 9 July. Pretorius' last appearance for his country was in July 2003, against the Australians in Brisbane.
In his previous 12 Test appearances, he scored 102 points.
His international comeback was the biggest surprise in a 28-man squad for the Mandela Cup match, which takes place in Sydney.
