Coach Joe Lydon has been forced into making changes to the England squad to face Canada in the Churchill Cup. Injuries to Micky Ward, Mike Worseley and Hugh Vyvyan have meant call-ups for Sale's Stuart Turner, Leeds' Mike Shelley and Newcastle's Phil Dowson.
"Obviously it's very disappointing for Hugh, Micky and Mike who can't now come to Edmonton," said Lydon.
"This tour is all about opportunity and I'm pleased for Phil, Stuart and Mike, who now must take this chance."
