Rotherham forward Nico Steenkamp has been given a three-month ban after testing positive for the banned stimulant methylhexaneamine.

Steenkamp failed a drugs test following the Titans' Championship game with Cornish Pirates in early January.

His ban runs from a provisional suspension date of 28 January, and so will end on 28 April.

On Thursday, Sale prop Karen Wihongi was banned for four months, external after a positive test for the same stimulant.
